Given the choice to cut taxes on a FEW who make a LARGE amount of money or cut taxes for a LARGE amount of people who make a SMALL amount of money which would you choose? It seems obvious to me that the later is the ONLY real option! We have had years of Reagan inspired 'trickle down economics' and where has it gotten us?
Now here we have McCain touting a spending freeze as a solution to the economic mess we are currently in! How crazy can you get? What about the infrastructures of this Nation that absolutely require funding for maintenance and retrofitting? Do we really want to have more bridges collapse before we get on the same page on? The only way to fund services, that most of us don't even think about, is taxation.
Get over it!
Like the old sayings goes "You get what you pay for!!" and "Each according to his ability!".

Quell the rumors...Fight the Smears
From the Obama/Biden campaign:
I know this email sounds like it’s from a concerned supporter, but we have to keep in mind that no one can keep you from voting based on what you wear.
To be clear: wearing a piece of Obama clothing will not keep you from voting.
Most states allow voters to wear whatever they want when they go to the polls as long as they don’t do any “electioneering.” Even the handful of states that don’t allow campaign gear still have to allow you to vote if you take off your campaign button for a couple minutes or put a jacket over your T-shirt.

Complacency is a Killer
Obama *should* have it in the bag if the polls hold... *BUT* we must remember the lengths to which the Repubs went last time around...FRAUD, VOTER OBSTRUCTION, VOTING MACHINE 'ISSUES', essentially STEALING votes! I am hoping all those 'feet on the ground' in the swing states have some kind of plan to combat all this in a substantive way, and in a way that doesn't take 18 months after the election is over to resolve....
So the upshot is DONATE!! To Obama and to the DSCC so we can get a better majority in the Senate! DONATE! VOTE!
